The Women Sports Medicine Society of Iran

| As
mentioned before, “Women Sports Societies” are under
the supervision of the “Deputy of Women Sports of
the Physical Education Organization of I.R.Iran” in
the form of The Women Sports Federation of I.R.Iran.
Mission Statement:
We, as members of the main organization on “Women
Sports Medicine” in Iran are quite decided about
settling appropriate sports medicine progress to
improve health status and performance level of
Iranian female elite and amateur athletes, and in
this way, in addition to employing scientific and
experienced personnel, we focus on the updated and
evidence based science to fulfill preventional and
therapeutic needs of the athletes, to educate
medical team, to perform researches based on needs
assessment, and to publicate relevant sciences; and
in all these issues, we observe ethical, Islamic,
and cultural disciplines in the boundaries of
international regulations in sports. |

Medical Insurance:
All the female athletes in Iran have the opportunity to
come into coverage of the sports medical insurance; and
this insurance is obligatory for all the clubs and
teams.
They come into coverage of this
insurance by a little price annually; and in the case of
injury, some or all of their expenses for treatment will
be paid.
Supervising Provinces:
* Visiting the 28(all) provinces activities
* Planning multicentral activities
* Far away corresponded education
* Designing general medical examination
forms
* Designing specialized medical examination
forms
* Designing medical permission for
participation cards
* Managing medical insurance for athletes in
the provinces
* In the case of injury, referral of the
casualties to the hospitals in appointment and paying
the
expenses of their treatment
* Yearly seminar of “Heads of Women Sports
Medicine Boards” of the provinces
* Designing 3-month reporting forms

various fields of sports in Tehran in the following
